As I sat down to write something about Max, I was flooded with memories: his mentoring, his encouragement, his friendship, his participation and his spirituality. I could tell numerous stories about each of these. Which one or ones to choose? If I took the time to list all of those memories, it would certainly fill a small book.
So what I did was I sat down in silence as Max often did. The silence was calming and refreshing from the joys recalled. Then a thought popped into my head – not a thought but lines from a song. The song was: “Maria” from ‘The Sound of Music’. These lines were: “How do you keep a wave upon the sand” and “How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand.” Max’s ability to flow freely but with purpose with whatever appeared and make it work in some way was like those two lines. For me they jumped up the first time I saw him do a Polarity session demonstration. How did he do that so well and so easily?!
Thanks Max. You are missed and you will be fondly and happily remembered for your character. Your service, your friendship and your spirituality. Very often you are still motivating me. How fortunate for me.
